I fell in love with this set and wanted to do something fun with them. The original plywood seats had … more I fell in love with this set and wanted to do something fun with them. The original plywood seats had water damage so we cut new treated plywood seats. I used Nufoam water resistant padding, wrapped in a layer is muslin and then chose the most amazing indoor/outdoor fabric from Clarence House Textiles. I love how it pulls in so many fun colors. The fabric is top of the line. Underneath the seat is closed up with dust cover for a clean look. There are a few layers of paint on the metal frame and I am choosing to let re-painting or powder coating to the new owner. I love the red and they can be used as is before deciding. They are slightly chippy but generally in good condition. All floor glides are present. Although all improvements were made with porch life in mind, I highly recommend storing the seats indoors when not in use for longevity and to keep them clean. They just sit on the frames and lift right off.
