French, 19th century, and crafted from mahogany with bronze ormolu mounts and original upholstery. The cylindrical armrests are all supported by stunning bronze swan figural busts. The chairs feature square profile tapering legs. The seats are amply proportioned and quite comfortable, each decorated with multiple excellent quality bronze neoclassical mounts. Bought in the South of France.
