Beautiful 19 Century Louis XVI Burlwood Commode with classic lines and Ormolu embellishments. The rich Chestnut and Mahogany tones are crafted into intricate patterns with Golden inlay accents borders. Bronze hardware and accents at corners, locks, mirror and feet. The creamy white Italian marble top has dark grey, black veins throughout. There is a fine line crack toward the front that doesn’t detract from the look or integrity. The marble lifts up and the mirror can rest on top or hung on the wall. The piece is in very good condition with expected signs of age -related wear. The varnish is crackled.
