This is a heavy Chinese pottery with a hand painted pheasant and flowers. The platter is made with a "foot stomped" process to the clay that gives it a unique and often antiqued finish. The platter features birds resting in the brush with large flowers. This platter is a large round 16 inch in diameter and about 3 inches wide.
