This is an original painting called "Reading Near the Lake." The painting was inspired by an old black and white photograph from my archives. The painting on canvas reimagines this moment with the colors of a vibrant summer day.

about my work:
I'm a visual artist with a BFA from Laguna College of Art & Design, where I majored in drawing and painting, working primarily from life and the nude figure. My work is inspired by nature, my everyday surroundings, and a collection of old photographs. I show in galleries and exhibitions in addition to selling directly from my studio.
