Crafted in the United States, this is a vintage chartreuse-curry Russell Wright (1904 - 1976) "American Modern" ceramic casserole dish produced for Steubenville (between 1939 through 1959) with its sculpted handle and separate lid.
The biomorphic bubble-shaped hollowware pot measures 8 1/2" in diameter, 12" across to the tip of the handle, and 4 1/2" in height (and with its lid on, 5 1/2"). The pot's mouth measures 5 1/4" in diameter. less
