This Really is a Great Looking - Very Rare & Unusual Vintage Cast Iron Circus Elephant Doorstop. Circa 1930s. I have been dealing in doorstops for many years. I have looked in all of my reference books and I could not find any examples of this model. It has No Maker Marks but it is Done in a 2 Piece Casting and it does have the Grout Filled Screw Head that Fastens the 2 Pieces Together that Hubley Was Well Known For. It is Quite Heavy Cast Weighing Approx. 4 1/2 Pounds. It Still Retains its Original hand Painted Features that are in Exceptionally Good Condition. It has No Breaks or Damage to the Casting and it Displays Beautifully. It is Absolutely Guaranteed to be Original and Vintage as Stated.
It Measures 6 1/4 inches Tall x 9 3/4 inches Long x 3 1/2 inches Wide.
