An original vintage etching of a German Shepard by Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt signed lower right in pencil presented matted and framed in contemporary gallery frame using archival materials. Image measures 9.5" x 11" overall framed size 12" x 15".
Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt is one of the most famous and revered 20th century dog artists. He was born in 1895 in Leipzig , Germany and died in Munich in 1977. He studied at the Weimar Academy of Fine Arts, where he became a student under the artists Theodor Hagen and Lionel Feininger.
