This would have been used on the altar to display a large bible during mass for the priest to read from. This is an instant conversation starter in any space because of its great height at over seven feet tall and beautiful details! Topped with a pointed cross, accented in gold and scrolling details, the display has the ability to turn 360 degrees. At each side is an adjustable candle holder in working condition. Gilt details from centuries past cling to the worn iron, adding to the exceptional patina. The scrolling base is ornamented with hammered acanthus leaves.
