The ebony pair is an Otto Gerdau Import and the natural beech pair is a little later version from an unknown maker. These chairs are often mistaken for original Gio Ponti pieces, but they are not. However, Otto Gerdau sought quality makers throughout Europe and was especially adept at finding them.
