An early English porcelain tea bowl or cup
An authentic Worcester piece from the mid/third quarter of the 18th century
It is an example of the high quality porcelain produced by Worcester during this time
Egg shell thin, light and shiny, it is a jewel piece!
Underglaze cobalt pattern around the inner rim and another outside, towards the base, blue flower at the center inside, with gilt highlights
Hand painted variety of floral sprays on the outside, three larger and three smaller in-between, rendered with colorful enamels
It displays extraordinarily fine painting
Well marked with the Worcester blue crescent underglaze
Circa 18th century, 1751-1783, Dr. Wall period
Early Worcester porcelain is very scarce to find, especially in such untouched condition
