Wonderful 1920s set of two flat panel wood shutters with star and moon cut-out in each shutter. Adds great character to the house, cabin, guest cottage, play house or shed! Great patina. Or use indoors to frame the view outside (see photo). Multiple coats of paint, most recently off-white. Matching 1 1/4" thick pieces with tongue in groove closure and "footed" bottom, as shown. Very sturdy and well-made.
Condition consistent with age and outdoor use. In remarkably good shape! Multiple layers of paint, some peeling, crazing and chips, all add up to a great patina. There is a small gouge in the lower part of one side of one shutter as shown. Hardware not included, some old hardware painted in, as shown. Please see photos for detail and condition.
