In the trompe l’oeil style … more A French Palissy majolica glazed hand painted wall plaque, signed by the artist, circa 1890-1900.

In the trompe l’oeil style of fool the eye, a dimensional mold showing a branching cherry limb full of fruit. Signed by the artist, F. Perrot, glazed in a beautiful deep, earthy olive green with lighter green leaves and pale pink cherries. A lovely Craqueleur surface enhances the design.

Pierced on the foot rim for hanging. A large, impactful and unusual piece.
