Very early pieces, likely a pair of male and female figures in traditional Thai costume. The carving is exquisite revealing the personalities of each figure. One colored in a soft blue palette and the other in muted rose colors. Gentle colours tempered by age.
No markings.
Late 19th Century.
Condition is typical from this period. Loss to wood and glass beads in multiple places. Despite the condition they still have a beautiful attraction to them, and very eye catching display pieces as well as being somewhat rare due to their size.
Superb decorator pieces for home, office or Asian business.
