Large, and striking vinyl tape sculpture by James Hyde c. 1996.
Included is a file of information about the artist, along with a copy of the catalog listing for the piece from the original sale with a note to previous owners that references Hyde’s s then current 1999 solo show at The Art Gallery at Brooklyn College.
Hyde has been awarded fellowships and grants from the Guggenheim Foundation, Joan-Mitchell Foundation, and others.
