Striking 1960s Aldo Londi for Bitossi geometric ceramic table lamp. Imported and distributed in the United States by Raymor of New York. Featuring a "Mondrian" style cylindric geometric design with a semi-gloss bright yellow glazed finish contrasted by textured matte black. No visible maker's mark.
For fifty years Bitossi's creative director, Aldo Londi brought the ceramics manufacturer into the modern era with his abstract motifs and vivid use of colors.
The lamp does not come with the shade photographed (for reference only). The lamp has been rewired to fit US modern standards and it will be delivered with harp and finial.
Measurements: 4.75 in. diameter (12 cm) x 28 in. total high (71 cm).
