This is a vintage 1980s blown glass transparent Scandinavian-style bulb vase made in Japan by Dansk International.
It can be used as an open apothecary jar (such as for tooth-picks, Q-tips, cotton balls, or room diffuser wands in scented oil , or pot-pourri, etc) or as a scented oil diffuser, however, it makes a demure and simple vase for forcing Tulip, Iris, or Hyacinth bulbs, and I have especially loved this one for cultivating Avocado plants on my window sill.
The vase measures 4" in diameter (its mouth is 3") and is 4" in height
