Recently framed with a new mat and all acid-free materials in a period giltwood frame with old glass. We love how the texture of the gold frame mimics the surface texture of the boulders in the painting. Painting is signed with initials at lower left, though the artist is unknown to us.

The watercolor has some faint toning noticed in the upper area of the sky when you look closely. Also to note are the several straw marks and waves in the glass indicative of the age of the glass. View area of work measures 7" wide x 4.75" tall. Measures 11 3/8" wide x 8.75" tall including frame. See less
