This Really is a Great Looking - Very Rare & Unusual Vintage Cast Iron Equestrian Riding Boot Doorstop. Circa 1930s. LIFE SIZE! - Measures 14 1/2 inches Tall x 11 inches Long. It has No Maker or Other Markings in the Casting but I am Quite Sure that it is American in Origin. Note! that This Type of Doorstop is Referred to as a "Wedge" Style due to The 2 Wedges that Extend from the Back - Base. It is VERY HEAVY CAST WEIGHING OVER 9 POUNDS. I Believe that it Would Have Been Made for a Large Horse Barn Door. It is in Excellent All Original Condition - Still Retains its All Original Black Painted Features - Displays Beautifully. Note that There are Some Small Chips in Paint Here and There. It has No Damage or Repair to the Casting.
LARGE SIZE! - It Measures Overall 14 1/2 inches Tall x 11 inches Long x 3 3/4 inches Wide at Base.
