This is an impressively sized alter table, … more Here is an incredible piece hand-crafted in Asia in the late 1800's-early 1900's. This is an impressively sized alter table, made up of three separate pieces. There are two side pedestals and a top, which "fits" into the pedestals with a type of dowel system, so it stays together quite securely. Each pedestal features amazing carved details, and a drawer on the outer sides (the drawer is not in the front). On the drawer fronts there are wonderful carved dragons and a matching bronze-colored metal pull. The front of the pedestals has carving of figures with an Asian background. Amazing statement piece!
