Description: A set of four (4) photo-micrography prints from the Where Worlds Meet; An Artistic Approach to Scientific Photography series. The … more A set of four (4) photo-micrography prints from the Where Worlds Meet; An Artistic Approach to Scientific Photography series. The photographer is Jack Kath and the series was copyrighted by Merck & Co, Inc. in 1970. The grouping of four prints includes Vitamin B12, Thiamine, Amprol Plus, & Thibenzole. As well as the original folder the prints came in. The prints have been framed to prevent any damage.
Jack Kath was employed as the photographer for the Merck Sharp & Dohme Research Laboratories Division of Merck & Co., Inc. In 1961 Kath's photo-micrographs were exhibited in the Kodak Exhibit Center. In April 1962 Kath's Hidden World of Crystals was circulated by the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition Service, the exhibit consisted of 25 micro-photographs of drugs and chemicals.
