A unique … more A dozen fabulous beautiful individual lacquer trays by Otagiri style 60/351 made in Japan with gallery and handles. A unique ebony/ faux tortoise tray with matte gold rims. Purchased at Harrods, London in late 1960's -early 1970's. We purchased 24 to use as individual buffet trays for a big catered party, I listed the ones in near new condition stored in original boxes as a lot of a dozen. a few are pristine, a few have nicks or light scratches.They are very handsome, rich dark wood, simple gold rim go with any china style. They go modern or traditional , casual or formal and accommodate the plate, serve ware, glasses and napkins without spills. Oversized at 19 Long X 12 1/4 wide X 1 1/2H they work as lap trays and also have been used as part of place setting for sit down dinners. A luxury buy and expensive, but we got so many compliments. There is nothing on the market today to compare.Stunning. less
