They … more Tasteful Mid Century pair of very highly detailed Chinese Chalk Ware Chinese Emperor and Empress statues or nobles figures. They measure just under 13" tall and sit on ornate dragon thrones with dragon legs. Exquisite detail - look carefully at the detail on the traditional Chinese robes with rank badges and the four headed dragon throne chairs upon which the pair sit.
They are complete - so often the 'hat finial or button' piece is either damaged or missing.
These two statues are overall in excellent condition and were made in the USA. They are ivory in colour with light tan / light brown shading, and are quite heavy. A regal addition to any home.
As these are heavy, they can be used as bookends.
