This whimsical reticulated beauty was hand painted with a cheerful daisy (I believe) motif by an artisan in Portugal. It’s a contemporary piece, circa late 1980s to early 1990s by Sur La Table. Handcrafted from highly glazed earthenware with a milky white finish and a colorful arrangements of colors that will complement most any space. It measures 12” x 1½” D/H; weight 1 lb. 14 oz.; makers mark is on the underside. It has four holes on the back rim which will allow you to hang, if you wish. In excellent condition with no visible wear. One minuscule chip the size of a sesame seed on the back rim next to one of the hanging holes (see photo 12) that is indiscernible. If you’re a reticulated plate collector or connoisseur of pottery made in Portugal, this beauty will light up your life! Note, plate stand not included.
