It is a centerpiece basket or counter bowl in the form of a rooster. It is a carved wood with a white wash paint. There is a formed metal basket with bent metal feet. It looks different from all sides, see all pics. He is very substantial at 28 inches long. Definitely makes a statement sitting out on the table. The center I would portion has a handle for carrying. I have not seen another. This quite possibly could be a design by Frederick Weinberg but I am only attributing. It is unsigned. See less
