This Andy Warhol Estate rare vintage 1989 Pop Art collector's iconic offset lithograph print " Liz " 1964, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The collector's Pop Art print is published by Te Neues Publishing Company in cooperation with The Estate and The Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts, printed in Germany in 1989 in an unnumbered limited edition. It features an iconic portrait artwork image of Hollywood actress Elizabeth Taylor originally created by Warhol in 1964 titled " Liz ".
This is a rare opportunity for true Warhol fans and collectors as this coveted image Pop Art print is long out of print and very scarce to find. The official " AW " Foundation seal of authenticity is printed on the print.
Andy Warhol ( 1928 - 1987 ) is one of the singularly most well known Contemporary artists of all time. His imagery is recognized worldwide. His infamous life, artworks, and creative endeavors are like no other artist. he is credited as the very first artist to use common everyday objects and view them in a completely different way while paying homage to their role in our society. Glorifying the common as the beautiful. His technique utilizing a silkscreen method combined with hand finishing in a signature of vibrant color hues make the work stand on its own and loved by millions.
The rare out of print offset lithograph print measures 12" W X 16" H. It is printed on high quality smooth finish paper stock with vibrant ink colors.
