A romantic Louis XV style intricately carved walnut sofa with shaped tufted upholstered backrest leading to scrolled partially upholstered armrests with scrolled floral detailing, Knees have carved acanthus leaves and a diamond carved skirt, central floral filled cartouche and scrolling filigree. The broad seat is upholstered with burgundy mohair and the sofa is raised on tapering legs with snail feet. Classic high quality example of Louis XV fine furniture. #5608
