This antique table from Italy has a rectangular-shaped top which overhangs a apron below which houses a drawer along one long side, and is nicely presented upon four robust and twist-carved legs. The legs are supported with an H-stretcher and pair of vertical posts, all carved in the same bold fashion as the legs - giving this piece a rather bold appearance. The wood has a wonderful old patina and show of age, which is complimented with a darker trim along the top edge (a later addition to the piece). This late 18th century table from Italy has a leg clearance of 24.5 inches from underside of apron to floor, making a great option for a handsome desk - great to float within a room! See less
