- I have had this piece going on 2 years. I could never figure out its history or maker but it … more I have had this piece going on 2 years. I could never figure out its history or maker but it has always had me intrigued and curious as its origins. If you look at the neck, it is asymmetrical and primitives in construction. The inside is ruff and has no glazing whatsoever. It appears to have some writing on the bottom but if that is so, I am unable to make it out. It is a very interesting piece and is a nice size. The age stated for its creation is conservative but unknown. less
