Textured surface, finished in Vintage white gesso, wiring and hardware, French and of the period. Bulbs are recessed into the bowl rim with a large pane of frosted glass to project light down in the center. In the '30s and early '40s metals were conserved to help with the war effort. Plaster and other soft materials were the choices available for the designer, High Style even then. Rewired in modern Chandelier sockets UL certified stickers on the interior.
