Beautiful large, vintage Murano hand blown transparent aqua, pink, sky blue, white and gold flecks Italian art glass Victorian woman sculpture. Starting from the top, she has large twisted white top bun hairstyle. Large sky blue double collar with ruffles down the flaunsy pink and gold blouse (looks a peachy color from all the gold in it). The blouse also has large ruffled bell sleeves in a contrasting aqua color. Her hand are holds a white fan, also with gold leaf. The dress has some gathered fabric continuing from the blouse down the sides. The skirt has solid pink-white ruffle trim decoration on it as well. The figure is profusely covered in gold leaf throughout every inch of it, and stands on a pedestal base, also in gold. Would make a great display piece on any surface, vanity or curio cabinet. Of interest to dress makers, fashion and costume designers. Mid-century era. Gorgeous sculpture! Measures 12 1/2" tall x 5 3/4" wide at the skirt.
