Given to me as a gift, this cutie has been used as a cachepot full of real and faux greens over the years. It’s a whimsical piece whose cuteness factor will complement any design style! Crafted from ceramic with a glazed finish, it measures 10” x 10” x 5” W/D/H; interior 5¾” x 4” W/H; weight 3 lbs. The base of the cachepot is a reddish brown hue, while the piglets are white with black britches and an assortment of colorful tops; interior is off white. It is unmarked and in excellent condition; it hails from the early 1960s. The interior does have some stains from water seepage from pots being placed into it over the years (see photo 9). There is one minuscule glaze chip on the left hand of one of the piglets that is indiscernible (see photo 8) and does not impact its cuteness factor or utility. For a collector of unique cachepots, this cutie is a must have or the perfect gift for someone who is.
