Extracting ideas from elements of nature, multi tiers of glass with polished accents, drip like water in a series of cascades that are featured on this extremely decorative table lamp.
The entirety is mounted on a silver leaf circular wood base.
The shade electrified with three candelabra based sockets can hold either LED or incandescent bulbs.
Etablisseme Jean Gauthier, EJG. was a glass and porcelain decorator whose first establishment was located at 12 and 14 rue Jean Robert in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, France. He subsequently opened a factory in Ezanville to the north of the capital and then after 1930, used the name Ezan for his creations.
He mainly produced moulded pressed art glass and also manufactured laminated, patterned and opaque flat panels for use in windows and interior design installations: screens around booths in bars, restaurants and lounges, or interior sash windows in adjoining walls that required temporary privacy.
Jean Gauthier was well known for making table lamps, ceiling lights and chandeliers.
This luxurious table lamp can will be the focus of any room and can be used with any period including but not limited to Hollywood Regency, French Modern, Belle Epoque, Traditional, Transitional, Modern, Mid century for use in a bedroom, entry foyer, boudoir, living room, office, child's room or anywhere a dramatic effect is warranted.
You can play with the intensity of the color of the glass by varying the wattage and the color of the bulbs you use. less
