An original Belgian Art Deco dining table featuring a parquetry inlaid table top defined by expert woodworking and a curved double pedestal base with polished aluminum decorative accents, by De Coene Freres
Branded "Importe de Belgique"
Due to the nature of the grain and its inlaid parquetry application, the raw and unornamented top has an iridescent and spotted quality reminiscent of an oscelot's fur. The robust satin lacquered rectangular tabletop is supported by an interesting lower structure.
The table has two leaves of a slightly different color.
These table leaves can be used singly or together for the full extension.
The Constructivist urban and austere design of this table projects an air of strength and solidity.
