This large colorful landscape oil painting on canvas was created as a work of art for the home. The beautiful painting expresses a moment in time at a lavender farm where rows and rows of violet, purple and blue stimulate the senses.

This classic landscape was inspired by an experience I had painting on site at Carousel Lavender Farm in BucksCounty, Pa. The painting was created from a plein-air study I did one summer morning. The experience had a expansive feeling that I wanted to convey in a larger format than I could do on site.
