Antique Italian beveled marble serpentine tabletop. Salvaged from a giltwood swan motif console table with matching mirror. Created in the 19th century, this marble top is in a serpentine shape, with a beveled edge at the front.
This piece originally was part of a Baroque console table with gilt swan details and a matching mirror. (Please see our photo of the original piece for reference.) The wooden console portion of the table was damaged and is no longer usable. Luckily the mirror and tabletop were salvaged. In pencil on the bottom, an illegible name is written.
How we would style it:
We would love to see architectural beauty repurposed as a bar top, mantle, or to replace an existing console tabletop.
