Beautiful rich patina carved from one piece of wood, deep fluted edges mimic the veins in a leaf. Great as an art piece displayed on its own, or as functional as serving ware, such as a fruit basket, able to place bananas on the top level carved smaller bowls as well. Origin unknown, but similar items were made in Hawaii / South Pacific in the early to mid 20th century and many similar items are considered folk art. See less
