This David Hockney rare vintage 1988 Pop Art lithograph print custom framed iconic large exhibition poster " Still Life with Magenta Curtain " 1987, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The lithograph print Pop Art exhibition poster is published by The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, printed in 1988 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the " Hockney : A Retrospective " exhibition, February 4 - April 4, 1988. It features an iconic artwork image originally created by Hockney in 1987 titled " Still Life with Magenta Curtain, courtesy of the artist, copyright David Hockney 1987, poster design by Museum Associates, Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

David Hockney ( B. 1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to The Pop Art Movement of the 1960's. He is considered one of the most influential British artists of The Twentieth Century. His artworks have commanded greater popular acclaim than any other Contemporary British artist. The Pop Art Expressionist style artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art Works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print lithograph print framed large format exhibition poster measures 22 1/8" W X 39 3/4" H X 1 1/2" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern matte eggshell finish medium charcoal gray museum box style wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling.
