This is a vintage carved spice table. A Far Eastern, mahogany glass topped coffee or lamp table with brass mounts, dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1940.
Fascinating table with a striking, carved inset gallery
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select stocks present deep russet hues with fine grain interest

Brass foliate tiles with pairs of birds sit deep within a carved frieze
Small drop-flap dressed with a circular pull and sliding wooden clasp
