- This multi-faceted light magenta and gold Murano antique shallow bowl is considered to be a bowl for holding a man's … more This multi-faceted light magenta and gold Murano antique shallow bowl is considered to be a bowl for holding a man's pipe or cigar, thus the small round indentation at the center of the bowl. It's most rare! It has the usual glass forms that rise and fall and crest just like the Meddeteranian sea that surrounds the island of Murano. Note the star that swirls from the center of the glass, out to the edges of the bowl. I bought this piece for myself in the 80s from a Murano glass dealer in Beverly Hills California. less
