- Made in Germany by JP Kayser and Son between the late 1800s and early 1900s, this brass spirit kettle featuring … more Made in Germany by JP Kayser and Son between the late 1800s and early 1900s, this brass spirit kettle featuring a black lacquered wooden handle, can be attributed to designer Hugo Leven. The manufacturer's logo of an eagle or phenix and a 12/8 L is stamped at the bottom (see photos for reference). There is a slight bent to the tip of the spout which could be repaired by a professional metalsmith. This was part of photographer, and eclectic collector, Leo Ronald Morris' estate. less
