They came from an unbound portfolio of fashion designs called "Tailleure du Luxe (Luxury Tailoring). These designs were created by master tailors for the most chic women of the time. Note the detailed Art Deco styling in the coats and their unique, embellished necklines, cuffs and collars. They are luxurious, and sophisticated. Each design is numbered and each fashion plate is numbered as well. Note the rear views shown on the bottom. Each model is accessorized with lavish accessories. Handbags, gloves, hats etc are quite special to attain the desired 'look". The fabrics used by the tailors were quite luxurious and sought after by the most elegant and sophisticated shopper of the time. Images, done on thick paper stock, are in clean excellent vintage condition. 8.5 x 13.25 inches. Each fashion plate has graphic, structural lines which set a background for the designs.
