Description: Spectacular, heavy, brass bench or daybed. Urn finials and thick legs support the all brass frame. The cushion support is … more Spectacular, heavy, brass bench or daybed. Urn finials and thick legs support the all brass frame. The cushion support is made from gold-painted steel mesh wrapped on a gold-painted steel frame, then screwed to the inside of the brass frame. Possibly made by Mastercraft, La Barge, or Maison Jansen, but there are no markings.

We have left the brass unpolished. We believe it will shine up beautifully, as old brass does, should you wish to.

The 5" cushion is included, but the foam appears to be made from latex, which has hardened a bit in places. You will want to have a new cushion made.

We don't know the exact age, but estimate it's from the 1940's. less
