This is an original woodblock print inspired by the landscape of the Pacific Northwest. It is part of a limited edition of just 12 hand-pulled prints.

The process:
After drawing my design, the image is carved into wood. Ink is rolled onto the surface of the block, and the reverse image is transferred to paper. Multiple blocks were layered to create the final image.
About my work:
I'm a full time artist with a BFA from Laguna College of Art & Design, where I majored in drawing and painting, working primarily from life and the nude figure. My work is inspired by nature, my everyday surroundings, and a collection of old photographs. I show in galleries and exhibitions in addition to selling directly from my studio.
