Classic … Read more This is an Absolutely Beautiful - Very Fine Quality Antique Traveling Shot Glass - Drinking Cup. American in Origin. Classic Victorian Era - Circa Very Late 19th Century. The Cranberry Color Art Glass Cup is Hand Blown - Custom Made. Note that the Bottom of the cup is Clear Glass so it is Rendered in Two Colors. The Thick - Heavy Solid Sterling Silver Overlay Surface Decoration is Completely Hand Applied with All Fine Hand Engraved Features. By the Way ? Did You Notice the the Two Stylized Griffins ? that have been Incorporated into the Fancy Rococo Style Overlay Decorated Features. It Comes with its Original Custom Made Fitted Leather Protective Traveling Case. The The Top of the Case is Mounted with a Fancy Sterling Silver Decoration that would have been intended to Accommodate a Monogram. The Glass and the Top Silver Piece are Marked Sterling with a Makers Mark that I Could Not Identify. Note! That there is a Blank Space ( Between the 2 Griffins ) on the Front That Would Have Been Intended for Engraved Presentations - Monograms Etc. that Has Never Been Engraved. The Cup is in Very Nice Condition - No Chips - No Cracks - No Damage - Displays Beautifully. The Travel Case Exterior has Some Damage - Blemishes that are Age and use Related but is Still in Strong and Functional.
The Cup Measures 2 5/16 inches Tall x 1 7/8 inches Wide - Long at Top Rim.
