These lively and fun-to-look-at retro treasures have not been used/displayed for some time; time to find them a great new home! All three are in fabulous condition with vibrant colors from this era. The largest one has an interior, barely noticeable spot that does not impact its beauty or utility (see photo #9). Inherited from my mom, I believe these were originally made as carriers for Pyrex casserole baking dishes, back in the day, and they have been used as such but I’ve also used them as decorative accents throughout my home. Relief fruits and vegetables are handwoven from raffia; body and handles are woven seagrass while interiors are lined with burlap fabric. Together the trio weighs 1 lb. 1 oz.; handwoven sometime in the 1970s in the Philippines. Here’s the specs:
