Circa Late 19th … more This really is a Very Cute Original Antique - American Victorian Wood Jigsaw Puzzle & Box Set. Circa Late 19th Century. The Box and Puzzle are Made out of Pine Wood. This Whimsical Puzzle is Double Sided with scenes that Depict a Sad Dog and a Happy Dog. The Scenes are done in the Early Chromolithograph Style Printing on Paper and as such has Very Nice Rich Colors and Details. The Puzzle Comes with it Original Matching Wood Box. The Sliding Box Lid has some Age Cracks as a result of Wood Shrinkage over the years. The Puzzle is Complete bit it is but One Piece has a Small Broken - Missing Piece. Some of the other Pieces have had similar breaks that have been repaired - glued. It has a Authentic Old Look - Patina and it Displays Nicely.
The Puzzle Box Measures 1 2/3 inches Tall x 11 inches Long x 9 inches Wide.
