Description: This is a Great Looking Antique American Country Primitive Dry Measure. Small 1 Quart Size. Circa Late 19th Century. These … more This is a Great Looking Antique American Country Primitive Dry Measure. Small 1 Quart Size. Circa Late 19th Century. These were used to Measure Grains, Rice, Beans, Seeds, Flour, Etc. It is Completely Hand Made with Steam Bent Oak Sides and a Pine Bottom. The Oak Has Nice Natural Wood Grain Features. It is Quite Strong - Substantially Made. It also has Numerous Applied Steel Side and Bottom Bands adding to its Structure. The Interior - Bottom is Wood Burned Stamped with the Wilton New Hampshire Makers Name. It is in Very Nice Original Cosmetic and Strong - Sound Usable Condition. It has Great Honest Aged Patina and it Displays Beautifully. Note that the Bottom has been Applied with a Piece of Leather to so that the Steel Bands will not Scratch - Protect the Surface that it is Being Displayed On.
It Measures Inches 4 inches Tall x 5 3/4 inches Wide - Long.
