This vintage piece is in … more Fantastic vintage 1930s French Country Writing Desk with gorgeous pink, white, and gray marble top. This vintage piece is in excellent condition. The marble top has an upper and lower top for extra space to store important papers. There are 2 drawers for storage of office supplies and a lower shelf for additional storage. On the inside of one of the drawers, the name, Jacques Brillouin, is written. He was a famous French movie director in the 1930s. This is a truly unique piece with some interesting history! This was probably once a French wash stand, but since we no longer use washing stands, the drawers on this piece make it the perfect modern-day desk or extra counter top in the kitchen for cooking! The height from the lower counter to the floor is 31.5”. less
