Carved mahogany (may be walnut) showcases the details of this Chippendale piece: intricate cabriole legs and claw feet that show its undeniable Philadelphia pedigree , detailed back that is almost Queen Anne mixed with. A stunning piece that would serve beautifully as a regal office desk chair, bedroom chair, side chair.
In excellent antique condition. Certainly shows some wear ie stain loss at armrests, light scratches and nicks, etc. Leather is a distressed type and is not original. It is soft and supple, a wonderful cognac color that is as classic as the chair. Please see all photos. less
